Dear friends:     
      Dalian Maritime University is working towards a goal--to be the first-class University in the world. Our department is putting all of its efforts in that respect as well. We focus on educating talents who are able to meet the needs of the society. There are two themes when building our department: cultivation of talents and development of teachers and students. Everyone is taking those things as our own responsibility. Make a contribution to the education, which is, make the society a contribution.
     Graduates from our department are making great contributions to the society. Inherited with the excellent virtue of Dalian Maritime University, learned great achievements of the whole world's science and culture, they are working hard and applying the knowledge well in real situations. Besides the professional knowledge,They are excellent talents with the spirit of innovation and complete personality.
